The entire application process can take up to 3 weeks. Apply early, as applications are considered on a space available basis.
The application process begins with a campus tour or attendance at one of our Open House events. At this time you will visit the classrooms, meet teachers and administrators, learn about our history and educational philosophy, and receive all necessary application forms. Shadow Day Experience
All students are required to participate in the shadow day experience. Grades 1-4 are half-day; morning and grades 5-12 are full-day.
Application and Fees Submission
Submit your application along with the application fee of $220. This includes a $120 non-refundable assessment fee and a $100 tuition deposit. Your application submission shows that you are in agreement with and support the mission of Eastbrook Academy. It also indicates you and your student agree to adhere to policies and guidelines outlined in the Student/Parent Handbook.
Required Student Records
The following student records are required in order for the application process to continue: applicant’s previous and current year’s report cards, principal/teacher recommendation form, most recent standardized test scores, IEP/504 or equivalent educational plan, birth certificate (student must be age 4 by September 1), and immunization records.
Admissions Committee Review and Student Assessment; Part 1 (K4-12)
Advancement to this step will be determined by receipt of the above mentioned records, forms, and fees. Any student suspended or expelled from any previous school must demonstrate one complete year of good behavior at subsequent school before being considered for enrollment at Eastbrook Academy. The student must also show adequate aptitude on standardized tests administered by EBA.
Admissions Committee Review and Student Assessment; Part 2 (K5-12)
Advancement to this step will be determined by the above mentioned assessment. The Student Assessment; Part 2 is administered to determine academic gaps. If gaps are found, the Admissions Committee will assign coursework for the student in order for them to be ready to start school the following school year.
Final decisions are based on an aggregate of all of the above mentioned documents and assessments. At this time parents will receive a New Family Folder. The folder contains documents such as a Tuition Statement, Tuition and Fees Contract, Tuition Discount Guidelines, New Student Probation Contract, Student/Parent Handbook, etc.
Private School Choice Program Application (if applicable)
Be sure to submit required paperwork to Eastbrook Academy by the DPI controlled deadline during one of the Open Application Periods for EBA. For the Milwaukee program (MPCP) they are February 1-20 and April 1-20. For the Wisconsin program (WPCP) it is February 1-April 20. For more information on either program click here.
