In order for children to function well at school, they need healthy meals and good nutrition to feed their mind and body. In an effort to more robustly provide for this need, Eastbrook Academy has done the necessary work of applying and qualifying for the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). This means that the Academy qualifies for free breakfast and lunch at no cost to the student under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). Parents are no longer required to fill out the Application for Free and Reduced Priced Meals to determine eligibility for free or reduced meals. This new (for the school year 2023-2024) provision allows Eastbrook Academy to offer ALL STUDENTS free breakfast, lunch, and after-school snack at no cost.
- Breakfast will be served between 8-8:15 am in the Academy lunchroom.
- Lunch will be provided according to the regular school day schedule in the Academy lunchroom.
- After-school snacks will be provided for students participating in Eastbrook Academy after-school activities or sports. These snacks will be available between 3:30-4:00 pm in the “Club Hub”.
NOTE: If you filled out the Application for Free and Reduced Priced Meals in the past (or think you may qualify in the present) to determine your Income Eligibility, please use the attached Alternate Household Income Form instead. Reasons to fill out the Alternate Household Income Form:
- Accurate data reporting for the school:
- Title I Services
- Grant Qualification
- State Report Card
- Discounts or waivers for the student and parent:
- AP Exams
- College Admission Fees
- Community Program Participation
- Energy Bills
- Internet Assistance
Reminder, the Alternate Household Income Form is not required for school meals, but must be filled out yearly (July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024) in order for your income eligibility status to be valid. Please submit the form to the Business Office, or email to invoices@eastbrookacademy.org
