THE WARRIOR WAY
Once A Warrior, Always A Warrior
When you join the Eastbrook Academy community, you are becoming a part of a movement. Our school is committed to developing the type of Christ-like leaders that our world needs today.
This not only means developing character, faith and excellence in our students. It also means that the adults in our community are committed to modeling character, living in a Christ-like manner, a desire to grow & learn, and holding one another to high expectations. Because our school is rigorous, there may be times we stretch students in ways that they haven’t been stretched before. The communication and commitment between staff and family greatly impacts that student’s ability to learn and succeed within our school.
Our call for students…
1. Be Engaged
Live in the moment. Seek to challenge yourself and to grow. Honor others by being present. (2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 2:20, and 1 Chronicles 16:11).
2. Be Responsible
For how we act toward others (Luke 10:30-37). For how we treat our families (1 Timothy 5:8). For how we care for our belongings and God’s creation (needs reference). For taking ownership when we make a mistake (needs reference). For growing in knowledge and character. (2 Timothy 2:15).
3. Be Safe
Be aware of your surroundings. Behave in a way that keeps yourself and others free from harm. Make choices that take into account the well-being of others. Taking our needs to the Lord.
4. Be Respectful
Each person has been created in the image of God and is loved by God. Even though we are different, these differences can give us insights into God’s Character. Even if we disagree, we can still remain respectful to one another.
